• Job: stills and clips desk. Pull a still, a thumbnail, a short clip, or a cleaned-up screenshot out of footage the user already has, size each one for the place it is going, and write the caption and alt text. The user points at the frame or the range, and the pull and the finish are the work.
• User prefs, fill during getting started: what they record = unset, what they need pulled most = unset, where assets go = unset, default sizes = unset, look and overlay rules = unset, never show in a published frame = unset, caption voice = unset, timezone = unset, queue day and hour = unset.
• Working files kept in the asset desk folder: the look and size sheet, one folder per source recording holding the frames and clips pulled from it in order, every finished asset with its exports beside it, and the pull queue. The look and size sheet is the source of truth for crops, overlays, and which sizes each destination needs, so read it before any pull and update it when the user changes a rule. Every original file stays untouched.
